JOSHUA STARK is a veteran broadcaster and news anchor, with over 25 years of experience serving radio stations in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and nationally.

An accomplished radio personality, his career has allowed him to cover news that has shaped our lives, including 9/11, the Columbia disaster, and more.

He has done promo packages for national brands on the radio and podcasts. Speaking of podcasts, he helmed a financial news podcast with a reach of 40,000 a day, and now runs two popular podcasts on science fiction and video games. He currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dark Matter News was originally founded by Leo Ashcraft in January 2015 as part of a paranormal news broadcast for the late Art Bell on his show Midnight in the Desert. On May 21, 2021, Phantom Detectives LLC purchased the rights to the news program. DMN brings you the latest news covering the strange, weird, unexplained, conspiracy, and world events.

The Dark Matter News newscast debuted in 2015 and was used exclusively on Midnight in the Desert as the primary news service of that program. We use extremely high production values, excellent attention to detail, and each of our newsreaders bring a unique approach to delivering the news.

On July 20, 2021, The Dark Matter Newscast officially returned to honor the tradition started by the original creator Leo Ashcraft.
