Scientists Confirm: Mysterious Humanoid ‘Shigir Idol’, “Oldest in World”

At a press conference on August 27th, scientists confirmed that the famous Shigir Idol, just recently radiocarbon-dated at approximately 11,000 years old, will become one of the oldest wooden sculptures of its kind, placing it at over twice the ages of Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid. Extracted by archaeologists in 1894, the mysterious humanoid Shigir Idol was found in bits and pieces scattered throughout a peat bog on the eastern-slope of the Middle Ural mountains in western Russia. The idle’s reconstruction, standing 9.2 feet tall in a glass box filled with inert gas to preserve the wooden remnants, is thought to have originally towered at 17.4...

Battle for the Mauna Kea Telescope

In Hawaii County, Hawaii, a dormant volcano which stands more than 13,000 feet above sea level is currently being fought over by Native Hawaiians against a team of scientists. The plan is to build a 1.4 Billion dollar telescope on the site. The TMT Observatory Corporation originally decided on the site for the new telescope in July of 2009 after much research had taken place between the Hawaiian location and the mountain of Cerro Armazones in Chile. They want the site to be the home for the new  Mauna Kea telescope because the area is thought to be one of...

NASA Determined to Find Alien Life

NASA is determined to probe our neighboring celestial bodies in the hopes to find alien microbial life within 20-30 years, said NASA scientist Ellen Stofan back in April of this year at the “Solar System and Beyond” panel conference in Washington. For the scientists, the most interesting places to look for life are other worlds which fall within the Galactic Habitable Zones around stars similar to our own. The researchers at NASA are primarily looking for rocky planets that may contain water. Scientists estimate that the search for life is about one generation away from making that discovery and NASA...

Semi-liquid Rock to Blame For Unexplained Earthquakes

Scientists have been trying to determine why there are weird Earthquakes taking place in areas that are not on tectonic plate boundaries. In recent findings by the University of Southern California, a former mystery pertaining to unexplained Earthquakes now has evidence to confirm the source of the activity. New findings recently published in Nature magazine by a USC scientist says that mantle flow is a large contributor to earthquakes within the interior of tectonic plates. A large mountain belt in California which runs North to South was used to detect underground activity and the research corroborates well with the activity...

100,000 Year Old Electrical Plug Found In Granite

In 1998, electrical engineer John J. Williams discovered what looked like an electrical connector sticking up out of the ground. He began digging and found the three-pronged plug was embedded in a small rock. According to Williams, the curious stone was unearthed during an excursion in a rural location in North America, far from human settlements, industrial complexes, airports, factories, and electronic or nuclear plants. While it may hurt the credibility of his discovery, Williams refuses to give the exact location of his find, for fear that the site might be plundered of other mysterious relics. Known as the “Enigmalith”...

Large Underwater Opening Found On Malibu Coast

Is this a entrance to what some are calling an “Alien Base”? A large underwater opening was found on the Malibu California coast located at Point Dume. The discovery which was announced in 2014 on the Dark Matter Radio Network was found using Google Earth by Maxwell, Dale Romero and Jimmy Church. Researchers and UFO buffs alike have been searching for it for the past 40 years. The site has been a focus within the UFO community as a proposed hotspot for flying objects. The pillars which are thought to be support beams are more than 600 feet tall underwater...

Medical Doctors in Sichuan (a province in southwest China) recently diagnosed an 87 year old Chinese woman who had a large horn like growth extruding from her head with a condition known as “cornu cutaneum” or “Cutaneous horns”. Seven years ago, Liang Xiuzhen noticed something on her heard which looked like a black mole at the time, but didn’t think anything of it. Two years later, it turned into something much more and she began to have cause for concern. The woman’s son thought that Chinese medicine would have cured the problem, but unfortunately,...

Would you take a balloon to the edge of space?

A company called World View is planning to float passengers up to the edge of space — about 20 miles into the sky — via balloon by the end of 2016. This 5-hour joy ride will include cocktails, stunning views of the stars, the blackness of space, and the curvature of Earth, all for the hefty sum of $75,000 — about the price of a new entry-level Tesla. While there is no real consensus on where exactly space begins, the International Astronautical Federation thinks it starts at the 100-kilometer mark — about 62 miles up. According to that definition, this...

The Cuban Underwater City, a Remnant of Atlantis?

Has Atlantis been discovered in the Bermuda triangle? Scientists working off the coast of Cuba have verified via sonar from an underwater robot that there are ancient ruins at the bottom of the ocean about a mile in depth. Four large pyramids and other city like structures have been detected which may have a connection with the legend of Atlantis. Commonly known as the “Cuban Sub-sea Complex”, this discovery may lean support to the theory and speculations that Atlantis suffered from rising waters and eventually had its demise when the land sank into the Atlantic Ocean. A couple working with...

Archaeologists Discover 1200 Year Old Telephone

The twelve hundred year old telephone, a marvel of ancient invention, surprises almost all who hear about it. Reportedly found in in the ruins of Chan Chan, Peru, the delicate communication artifact is thought to have been made 1,200 to 1,400 years ago. The device is the earliest and best example of a “technology” in the region. Experts say it is the earliest known example of telephone technology in human history. Scientist Warns – ‘think twice before replying to alien signals’

A scientist in charge of finding signs of life on other planets has warned that human beings maybe should think twice before making contact with aliens. Professor Matthew Bailes is based at Swinburne University in Melbourne. He is warning that making contact with aliens capable of sending powerful signals to Earth through thousands of light years could lead humanity into disaster. He says they are likely to be much more advanced. “The history of weak civilizations contacting more advanced civilizations is not a happy one,” he said. Prof Bailes is heads up the Breakthrough Prize Foundation’s $100 million search for...
